The real spring has finally arrived and with the delicious wild asparagus. With a good eye that can distinguish between all those different tones of green you will find them in small maritime pine forests in Portugal and Spain and in the fields in Italy.
People say you should pull them out instead of just breaking the tips off. Like that they will grow again instead of having a broken branch continuing to grow.
